A New Chapter. A Trusted Name.
Coming to Lake Michigan · 2026
In 1959, Herb and Anne Postma built a boat dealership on a filled gravel quarry in Grandville, the only place in the Midwest where the name Dry Land Marina made perfect sense. For nearly four decades it grew into the largest boat dealer in the region.
The name went quiet in 1998. But it was too good to disappear. Now it's coming back to Lake Michigan, and this time, it's just getting started.
Handpicked lines from manufacturers who build the way Lake Michigan demands. Not every boat belongs on this water. We know the difference.
We stand behind every boat we sell. When you're on the water and something needs attention, you'll know exactly who to call.
Buying a boat is a big decision. We're not here to close a deal — we're here to make sure you get the right boat for the right water.
The original Dry Land Marina carried Bertram, Hatteras, Sea Ray, and Boston Whaler. They knew what belonged on Lake Michigan. That standard is what we're building on.
For nearly four decades, the Dry Land Marina name meant standing behind every boat that left the lot. That's the reputation we're committed to honoring.
Dry Land Marina spent nearly 40 years learning these waters and the people who love them. We're carrying that legacy forward — and building something worthy of it.
The Midwest's largest boat dealer.
Built on a quarry. Earned on the water.
Were you a Dry Land Marina customer? Did your family buy their first boat here? Did your dad bring you to the dealership on a Saturday morning just to look?
We want to hear what the name means to you. Every memory shared helps us bring back something worth coming back to.
